It’s been forever since I last updated the news section. I seem to be using twitter more and more at the moment, so for a more accurate update I would recommend heading over there. However, I can’t guarantee that you won’t come across some of my more ‘pointless’ posts, so for those that want to cut the crap, here is what I have been up to recently…

The German graphic design magazine Novum has been kind enough to do a feature on me in their latest issue. It is a special on typography and it features a number of fonts I have drawn, as well as a few other bits and bobs. Aside from the interview, I have just finished the artwork for Los Angeles based, 4 piece Hands’ latest single. They were a pleasure to work with and I hope to be doing some more work for them in the future. I was also truly humbled to be asked to take part in an exhibition curated by Mortar & Pestle studio called A Celebration of September. The show runs from 24th Oct to 1st Nov at the Dreamspace gallery in London. If I have any prints left from the show, I will hopefully try and sell them through a new shop section on my site.

So there you go. A busy couple of months. Keep your eyes pealed for a few new pieces and also a nice feature by the lovely people at Think Work Play  in the next few days.

Its been tricky to find the time but I’ve been working on a brand new identity for jewellery designer Sophie Thomas recently. Should hopefully start moving that on shortly with some potential exhibition graphics in the pipeline as well. Also, I’m approaching the end of a long and fruitful period of time designing the packaging for MaCoco Cocoa beans. Looking forward to finally seeing it out there.

Patrick and Teo over at No Days Off have kindly invited me into their studio for a little while to help out on their vast array of wonderful projects. Thanks for having me guys!

Merry Christmas everyone! Apologies for the lack of updates once again. Im working as a freelancer right now. Please hit me up if you have any cool projects you would like me to get involved with.

A little late on this update I’m afraid but anyway…. it is with a heavy heart that I said goodbye to Airside. A huge thanks to them, I had a fantastic time and could not have wished for a better group of people. The calendar typeface is now up on the site and photos of the main event should be up shortly.

Moving on, I have now started at Established and Sons, the rather well to do furniture company. Looking forward to working on some rad stuff with them!

I’ve been super busy over at Airside and haven’t had a chance to update recently but thought I would give a quick nod to a sneak peak of the Airside calendar over on their blog. As mentioned in previous posts, they very kindly gave me free rain over the project and this little snippet lets you see a sample of the typeface I designed as well as the artwork for the front cover. Hope you like it! The calendar has gone to print now, so Im super excited to see it come back in a couple of weeks.

Alex and I finished the Catalogue for Emerge show last week and we’re excited to say that the exhibition private view is tomorrow night (16th) over at the Cube Gallery in Shoreditch. Look forward to seeing you over there!

Two bits of news crammed into one here. The lovely people at Jotta have stuck up an interview with Alex Hunting and I about Be Brave. Thanks chaps! Read it here – BE BRAVE . Also, some newly acquired friends of ours at Emerge have kindly asked us to design the catalog for their up coming exhibition of Graduate talent curated by the rather well to do Dominic Lippa of Pentagram. We’ve made a start but with both of us interning at the moment its an up hill struggle. Expect one off typefaces, in vogue layouts and newsprint!

Ive been asked to design the revamped Airside calendar for 2011. Really excited about it. Im putting together a new typeface specially for the job! Looking forward to showing you all.

The kind folks over at Airside have invited me into their lovely abode for 3 months. I absolutely love being over there, they’re a great bunch of people and have made me feel very welcome. Really looking forward to producing some great work with them.
