An exploration of how to map movement, this project is the result of a long term collaboration between myself and digital animator Tom Flavelle. Originally spawned from a University brief asking us to investigate ‘traces’, I decided to work with two contemporary dancers – Grace Sellwood and Georgie Hay and create a body of work that would represent a visual echo of movement and an abstraction of the traces we leave behind.

Huge thanks to Tom Flavelle for his commitment and VFX work with the motion capture animation and of course massive thanks to Grace and Georgie for their constant enthusiasm for this project.
